I am... so annoyed with my own brain. It just constantly overwrites the very important section that keeps track of how other people feel about me with "they don't care about you even slightly". I have empirical evidence that this is not the case!! And yet, if I ask it how someone feels about me, it goes, "they probably find you slightly annoying and/or dismiss you entirely".

This is occasionally nice when someone does something nice for me and I get to be surprised and gratified that they thought of me; it is mostly upsetting and makes me feel lonely in the middle of a crowd. Bah.
